We keep our pricing clear and straightforward , so you know what to expect before any work begins.
All work is carried out by Luke Hughes, a fully licensed Certifying Gasfitter and Plumber with over 20 years’ experience.
Service Call Charges
Standard Service Zone: Whangarei Central & Surrounds
$179 + GST
Includes:
- Travel within Whangarei City & Surrounding Suburbs (highlighted orange on map)
- Up to one hour of onsite labour
- Vehicle charge
Extended Service Zone: Rural & Coastal Areas
$269 + GST
Includes:
- Travel within extended areas (up to approx 35km, highlighted purple on map)
- Up to one hour of onsite labour
- Vehicle charge
Labour (after first hour)
$110 + GST per hour
Charged in 15 minute increments after the first hour.
Outer Service Area
For areas beyond our standard and extended zones, travel is charged based on time and distance. Please get in touch and we can provide an estimate.
Installations & Replacements
For many common installations- such as gas cookers, hobs and similar work- we offer fixed pricing so you know the cost before booking.
These prices are based on standard installation conditions and compliance requirements.
In many cases, we can provide pricing from photos and a brief description.
Larger Work & Quotes
For more complex work – such as hot water systems, upgrades or relocations- we can provide an initial estimate to give you a clear idea of cost.
Final pricing can vary depending on appliance location, pipe runs, access and compliance requirements. If the estimate looks suitable, we can arrange a free site visit to confirm details and provide a fixed quote before work begins.
We also carry out work for renovations, new builds and light commercial projects and are happy to provide quotes as needed.
